You’ll start with an intensive two-year rotational programme within key areas of distribution, learning how the different parts of this complex business work together. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects as you work with colleagues from across the division. Gaining a unique insight into the commercial, operational and strategic issues we face every day, you’ll enjoy in-depth exposure and hands-on experience in the following four areas:
Investment Product Development: be part of our own ‘R&D lab’, responsible for researching new product ideas, analysing competitive information and seeking-out emerging business opportunities in existing or new channels and countries.
Local marketing & brand: contribute to the creative side of distribution: putting together product campaigns and thought leadership pieces, getting involved with PR activities and working with local marketing teams to implement our brand strategy.
Product: learn how to develop and manage a product (in equities, fixed income, alternatives or multi-asset) throughout its lifecycle from initial market research and idea generation to the completion of a business plan and the preparation of a client pitch.
Client Service: add value to our client planning and business development processes, working closely with one of our client directors in the UK.
During the two years, you will complete four rotations within our product, marketing, client service and market research functions. Towards the middle of your second year, it will be time to decide which stream you’d like to join once your initial training’s complete. You’ll work closely with your business sponsor here, making sure that the decision you reach is right for your individual talents and aspirations.
There will be the opportunity to work in London or at our offices in New York, Singapore or Japan.
