Social Societies
An active social life
Our UK Sports and Social Committee organises a whole host of activities to enable employees to mix with their colleagues in a friendly and informal setting In particular, the committee aims to:
Sponsor around twelve events throughout the year, attracting as wide a spread of people as possible. Previous events have included the JP Chase run, a quiz night, a poker night, sailing and go-karting. Provide events that can be used as a platform for team building. Support and encourage any sporting or social clubs that bring employees together. Create variety by introducing new events every year.
In addition, our Graduate Programme Manager will set up events specific to graduates. These will give you the valuable opportunity to socialise and network with graduates, new and old, throughout the business.
There are also numerous sports clubs within Schroders. Anyone is welcome to join them, and they currently include basketball, hockey, rugby, running and yoga.
