
Balham is two stops from Clapham on the tube. This has a very similar feel to Clapham, with good local pubs and restaurants and easy access to both Wandsworth and Clapham commons.

Battersea is closer to the river Thames, lying between Clapham and Wandsworth commons. It is popular with families and young professionals. Northcote Road provides most of the local cafes, bars and restaurants.

Kennington is the most central of these locations and provides good access to the City and West End via the Northern Line. It has an urban feel but also has many garden squares that are quiet and often home to a great local pub or restaurant.

To the North West of Battersea and situated on the river is Putney. This is slightly further from the City but still provides reasonable access via both the District tube line and overground train. There are a number of good pubs along the river and Putney’s location means it is easy to reach the open spaces of Richmond Park and to head out of town on weekends.
