We offer industrial placement year opportunities within our Portfolio Services Department. You could be working within one of the following divisions within this area (please click the division headlings for further details):
This area ensures that fund managers and internal and external clients are provided with accurate data for trading purposes and client reporting. They also produce the periodic client valuation reports for institutional portfolios.
Within Portfolio Operations, Schroders’ Reconciliations department is responsible for the maintenance and validation of investment records provided to Portfolio Managers on a daily/intra-day basis through the resolution of issues arising from reconciliations breaks. The investment records are also used in the production of periodic client reporting, compliance filing and other internal reporting requirements.
Schroders Performance Services are responsible for performance measurement and analysis for all funds managed in London and New York, delivering monthly reporting on an accurate and timely basis. Internal clients include Schroders senior management, Client Services, Marketing and Portfolio and Product Managers.
