Rather than recruiting into specific roles, we take a flexible approach to the development of graduates. Our induction programme has been designed to help us understand your own skills and interests, after which we can identify the right opportunities for you. Beginning as a junior developer or junior business analyst, you will work through our graduate programme alongside recruits from other business divisions. Incorporating 9 weeks’ formal training, this will include studying for the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Following that, you’ll work on a number of short rotations with key IT teams. This is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the full range of services we deliver – as well as build valuable contact networks. After six months’ rotations, you’ll be ready to take on a permanent role.
Training and development is very much geared to your individual needs and – and we’ll support selective specialist training where appropriate. All of this is complemented by a mentoring programme, giving you access to specific advice and guidance at any time.
We also encourage all of our IT staff to seek-out opportunities to extend their skills and experience. This means that there is no predetermined career path and transition between different roles and teams is commonplace. Our senior IT professionals typically hold positions as subject matter experts (in business analysis or technology for example) and often have direct experience of managing change.
We're looking for high-calibre graduates from any degree discipline who enjoy solving complex problems as part of a team. We like free thinkers who show initiative in making change happen.
In our world, the best solutions are made possible by combining a deep knowledge of business needs with experience of technology capabilities. You can look forward to exceptional training and support in both of these areas.
